Ben Willhite

Ben Willhite is currently an intern at Sandia National Laboratories, where participation in the 75th Intern showcase highlighted a project ranked in the top 1% among a diverse group of interns. This role involves managing enterprise-wide applications utilized by over 15,000 users. Previously, Ben operated a self-started tutoring service, Tutoring With Ben!, focusing on K-12 mathematics and reading, as well as SAT and ACT preparation. As a research intern for Retired Air Force Colonel Dr. Charles Vaughan, Ben contributed to developing a C++ program aimed at assessing vulnerabilities in the USAF's satellite array. Early career experiences include working as a crew member at Squeezed Juice Bar, and as a retail specialist at Outpost Ice Arena, where customer transactions and specialty services were key responsibilities. Ben is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Harvard University, having graduated from LA Cueva High School in 2022.
