Bob Pierce has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bob started their career in 1992 as a Systems Engineer at Olin and Physics International. Bob then worked as a Network Engineer at Bechtel and later joined EDS Advanced Solutions as a Senior Systems Engineer from 1996 to 1998.

In 1997, Bob joined Peoplesoft as a Network Engineer, where they led an international project to redesign the NT domain structure. Bob continued their career at ADP Inc. in 1999 as a Network Design Engineer and Network Architect, serving until 2017.

From 2017 to 2023, Bob worked at BlackBerry, initially as a Principal Network Engineer, responsible for network design, deployment, and operations for public and private cloud services. Later, they were promoted to Sr. Manager of Operations Infrastructure at the AtHoc division. In this role, they led the network redesign of the physical data centers and outlined network design, security, and traffic flows for migration to the Azure cloud platform.

Currently, Bob is employed at Sandia National Laboratories (since 2023) as a Principal Solutions Architect.

Bob Pierce attended Chabot College from 1991 to 1992, where they pursued General Education Courses. From 1988 to 1989, they studied Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology at Heald College-Hayward. Bob completed their secondary education at Hanford High School from 1983 to 1986. Currently, they are enrolled at Brigham Young University - Idaho since 2018, focusing on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.
