Clark Highstrete has extensive experience in research and development in the field of physics, currently holding the position of R&D Manager in the Quantum Phenomena Department at Sandia National Laboratories since June 2004. Highstrete's diverse roles at Sandia include leadership positions in areas such as microsystems counterfeit detection, positioning, navigation, and timing research, as well as high energy density physics diagnostics. Prior to this, Highstrete served as a Senior Reservist for the Air Force Safety Center and held various leadership roles in the New Mexico Air National Guard, including as a Director of Operations and Commander. Highstrete's military career includes roles as an F-16 pilot in both the Air National Guard and the United States Air Force. Highstrete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Caltech and a Ph.D. in Physics from The University of New Mexico.
