Team Lead, Product Realization at Sandia Corporation

Colin George, M.Eng. has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Colin began their career as a Tactical Aircraft Technician in the United States Air Force, where they gained strong mechanical skills and received recognition for innovative ideas. Colin later worked as a Co-Op Electrical Engineer at White Sands Missile Range, where they assisted in executing and reporting on tests and developed software. Colin then worked at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as a General Engineer, leading matrix teams and gaining leadership skills through various rotations. Currently, they are the Team Lead for Product Realization at Sandia National Laboratories, where they oversee complex projects, leads a team, and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Colin George, M.Eng. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Signal Processing from New Mexico State University. Colin also has a Graduate Certificate in Engineering with a specialization in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Furthermore, they hold a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Applied Electromagnetics from The University of New Mexico. Colin has additional certifications including a Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Sandia National Laboratories. Colin is currently working towards becoming a Certified Quality Engineer.
