Humberto Banuelos

Humberto Banuelos is a Senior Project Controller at Sandia National Laboratories, specializing in Nuclear Cyber and Physical Security projects since June 2023. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Program Manager to execute strategic initiatives and leading a cross-functional team of nine technical leads. Humberto has contributed to the development of user guides for Gen AI and LLM applications within the AI Innovation Team and has received Technical Excellence and Innovation Employee Recognition Awards in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Previous experiences include roles as an MBA Finance Intern at Western Digital, Senior FP&A Finance Analyst, and Program Finance Analyst at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, along with a Data Science Internship at Raytheon. Humberto holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Arizona, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Data Analytics from Arizona State University.
