John Miner

Chief Enterprise Architect at Sandia Corporation

John Miner has had a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. John started their career at PNM Resources as a Software Engineer from 1980 to 1983. John then moved on to Philips Electronics, where they worked as an Engineer/Manager from 1983 to 1994. Following this, John joined Intel, where they served as a Manager/Engineer for a remarkable 20 years, from 1994 to 2014. Currently, they are working at Sandia National Laboratories, initially as the Manager of Enterprise Application Architecture and Cloud Strategies Department from 2014 to 2016, and subsequently as the Chief Enterprise Architect in the CIO's Office, where they lead a team of enterprise architects.

John Miner earned their MBA in Information Systems and Economics from the UNM Anderson School of Management from 1992 to 1994. John also obtained a degree in Computer Engineering (EECS) from The University of New Mexico from 1979 to 1983. In addition to their formal education, John received certifications in Leadership Excellence and Quality Service from the Disney Institute in 2017. John also completed a course titled "Confronting The Big Questions: Highlights of Modern Astronomy" on Coursera in 2014.
