Peter Creveling

Peter Creveling, PhD, currently serves as a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories since December 2020. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Postdoctoral Appointee at the University of Utah from August 2015 to December 2020, where graduation occurred in October 2020. Peter's research focused on the characterization of ceramic matrix composites utilizing X-ray micro-computed tomography, developing manufacturing methods, non-destructive imaging procedures, and a new imaging processing technique for fiber-reinforced composites. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), a Master of Science (MS), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering, all obtained from the University of Utah between 2011 and 2020.
