Postdoctoral Appointee at Sandia Corporation

Victor Lam is a Postdoctoral Appointee at Sandia National Laboratories since January 2024, following a PhD candidacy in Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Francisco from August 2017 to December 2023. As a member of the QBI Coronavirus Research Group (QCRG) Structural Biology Consortium, Victor contributed to research focused on the biology of SARS-CoV-2 through protein expression and purification. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in The University of Texas at Austin's Sullivan Lab, where Victor investigated the role of miRNAs in viral latency, alongside tutoring and mentoring positions in general chemistry and freshman research initiatives. Victor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Honors from The University of Texas at Austin, completing the Dean's Scholars Program during undergraduate studies from 2013 to 2017.
