Wes Cramblitt has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Wes started their career in 2011 with an internship at enVista, where they learned C# and worked on Microsoft Axapta deployments. During this time, they also developed tools for data extraction and storage.
After their internship, Wes co-founded the Mississippi Damage Awards Database, where they built the entire system from scratch. However, the company had to shut down shortly after making their first sales.
In 2014, Wes joined the Centralized Alabama Recipient Eligibility System as a Senior Developer. Wes led a team in the early development stages of the CARES system and was involved in code reviews and agile processes.
Following their role at CARES, Wes worked as a Software Developer at Dorger Software Architects. Here, they contributed to legacy .NET projects and developed an in-house tool for change tracking documents. Later, they decided to transition into freelancing to have the flexibility of remote work.
Wes's freelancing experience began in 2019, where they worked on various projects, including games, web apps, and legacy system upgrades. Wes collaborated with teams of software engineers and also provided services to individual clients.
In 2022, Wes became the Lead Developer of CAPARS at Sandia National Laboratories. Their responsibilities included the technical integration and customization of the atmospheric dispersion modeling system.
In addition to their work experience, Wes also established their own company called Skills Over Paper in 2022. As the founder, they are involved in the overall management and operations of the company.
From 2010 to 2014, Wes Cramblitt attended Mississippi State University and pursued a field of study in Computer Software Engineering.
