Mayank Bhargava

Mayank Bhargava has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles in the hospitality and service industry. Mayank is currently working as the Director of Operations at Sandman Hotel Group, where they have been since May 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Manager- Holding Property at the same company from December 2022 to May 2023 and as a Manager in Training from June 2022 to July 2022.

Before joining Sandman Hotel Group, Bhargava worked as an Assistant General Manager at Nova Hotels from March 2022 to June 2022. Mayank also worked as a Business Development Agent at Allstate from September 2020 to March 2022, where they were responsible for prospecting and generating leads, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

In previous positions, Bhargava held the role of Director of Hospitality at Fort Calgary from September 2018 to July 2020. Mayank also worked at Great Events Group, where they held various roles including Director of Human Resources & Scheduling from June 2015 to September 2018, Assistant Director of Catering from September 2013 to September 2018, and Banquet Manager in May 2013.

Bhargava's early career included roles as a Food Service Manager at Delta Hotels from May 2011 to May 2013, a Food Service Manager at Westlock Inn from July 2008 to May 2011, and a Food Service Supervisor at Sunnigdale Country Club in May 2008.

Mayank started their career as a Banquet Supervisor at Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa from December 2005 to May 2008 and as a Banquet Associate at Marriott Birmingham from June 2004 to November 2005.

Mayank Bhargava completed their Bachelor's degree at Birla Senior Secondary School from 1996 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Hotel Management degree in Food and Beverage at the Institute of Hotel Management in India from 2000 to 2003.
