Steven Beaton

Steven Beaton is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in management roles across multiple properties. Currently serving as the Regional Vice President for Sandman Hotel Group since March 2019, Steven expanded the role to oversee six additional properties in Northern BC, building on prior responsibilities in Northern Alberta. Previous positions include Regional Director at Sandman Signature Edmonton South from August 2013 to March 2019, and General Manager of The Sutton Place Hotel Edmonton, where leadership was applied to a 313-room hotel in downtown Edmonton. Steven has also held managerial roles at Sandman Hotel Group and Sutton Place Hotel from 2006 to 2011, focusing on front office operations and guest satisfaction. Steven's career began at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire as an Assistant Manager in the Front Office. Academic qualifications include a BHRM in Hospitality from the University of Calgary and a degree in Hotel & Resort Management from SAIT Polytechnic.
