Filipa Paulo

Filipa Paulo is an experienced scientist specializing in pharmaceutical development and formulation. Currently serving as an IVIVC and Data Science Senior Scientist at Sandoz since February 2021, Filipa leads the modeling of pharmaceutical unit operations and oversees programming initiatives while conducting statistical analyses. Previously, Filipa was a Formulation and Process Development Senior Scientist at Sandoz, concentrating on alternative dosage forms under the QbD framework. At LEPABE, Filipa engaged in doctoral research in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Doctoral Program at the University of Porto, focusing on micro-encapsulated systems, while also serving as a Project Researcher developing delivery systems. Initial training experiences involved formulating protein-loaded microspheres at InnoCore Pharmaceuticals and contributing to projects at the Instituto Vinhos Douro e Porto. Filipa holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
