Harry Papageorgiou

Harry Papageorgiou has extensive experience in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainability roles. Harry is currently serving as the Global Head of ESG Reporting at Sandoz, where they oversee non-financial reporting, KPI and metrics consolidation, and the management of IT infrastructure for ESG KPIs. Prior to this, they worked as an ESG & Sustainability Integration Executive at various companies, collaborating with C-suite leadership and Board of Directors to establish and integrate meaningful ESG capabilities. Harry has also held roles such as a Consulting Director at ERM, Group Head of ESG & Managing Director at SYNLAB International, and Head of Sustainability EMEA at Steelcase. Additionally, Harry has worked as an Independent Advisor, providing expertise in circular economy and corporate sustainability. Harry gained experience in the banking sector as the Head of Group Sustainability and ESG at Eurobank Group, where they implemented sustainability policies and principles. Harry has also served in various advisory and committee roles, including as a member of the Expert Panel at the European Commission and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee at the Hellenic Bank Association. Harry has a strong track record of driving positive change and sustainable practices across different sectors.

Harry Papageorgiou obtained their BSc and MSc degrees in Agricultural Engineering from the Agricultural University of Athens. Harry also pursued an MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment, Auditing, and Environmental Management Systems at the University of East Anglia. In addition to their formal education, Harry has obtained several certifications, including ones in Change Management Tips for Leaders, Executive Influence, Influencing Others, The 10 Essentials of Influence and Persuasion, and The Neuroscience of Office Politics and Team Leadership. Harry also holds certifications in Grow Your Impact as a Mentor, Empathy and Emotional Intelligence at Work, Biophilic Design, Leading with Innovation, Normrevision ISO9001:2015, and Sustainability Strategies.
