James Brown

James Brown has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. James started their career in 2003 at ANZ, where they worked in various business analyst and advisor positions related to contact centers, operations, technology, and HR. In 2010, they joined Virgin Australia as an IT Business Analyst before moving on to Bank of Queensland as a Senior Business Systems Analyst and Senior Systems Analyst. From 2013 to 2014, James worked as a Business Analyst Lead at Sensis. James then joined Australia Post in 2014 as a Project Manager for their MyPost Digital Mailbox project, where they collaborated with external providers on integration efforts. James joined Suncorp Group in 2016, initially as a Digital Project Manager and later as a Digital Delivery Manager and Digital Portfolio Manager for mobile applications and web. In 2020, James became the Senior Project Delivery Manager at Sandstone Technology before being promoted to the Head of Portfolio Management in January 2021. Overall, James has extensive experience in project management, digital delivery, and system analysis across various industries.

James Brown obtained a Diploma of Project Management from Swinburne University of Technology in 2015. James also holds additional certifications such as Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist (obtained in November 2019), Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master (obtained in 2019), ICAgile Certified Professional - Enterprise Product Ownership (obtained in 2018), and ICAgile Certified Professional - Program and Portfolio Management (obtained in 2018).
