Jarmo Palviainen

Jarmo Palviainen is an experienced professional in user experience design and research, currently serving as a Senior User Experience Designer at Profit Software Ltd since January 2018, focusing on UX and service design in the finance sector. Concurrently, Jarmo has been a Doctoral Student and Researcher at Tampere University of Technology since August 1999, contributing to cloud-related consumer services and developer experience while coordinating the International 'Human Technology Interaction' master's program. Previous roles include Senior User Experience Designer at Evolvit Oy, President of the TUT alumni association, and a trainee at Nokia Networks. Jarmo holds an MSc. Eng. in Software Engineering with a specialization in usability from Tampere University of Technology.
