Adam Dowling

Adam Dowling has over 18 years of experience in the banking industry. Adam most recently served as the Director of Community Banking Operations and Senior Vice President at Sandy Spring Bank, where they were responsible for overseeing all operations, technology, finance, and compliance for the Community Banking division. Prior to that, Adam held the position of Senior Vice President and Regional Manager at WashingtonFirst Bank. Adam also has experience with SunTrust, where they served as Group Vice President and Area Manager, as well as Branch Manager.

Adam Dowling completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia from 1998 to 2002. Adam is currently pursuing a Stonier Diploma at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, with the program expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023. In addition to their academic qualifications, Adam holds certification as an Insurance Agent, specializing in Property & Casualty, which was obtained from the Sandy Spring Insurance Corporation in August 2022. Adam has also acquired a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
