Drew Engberson

Drew Engberson has a diverse work experience starting from 2017 as a Machine Learning Lead Instructor at iD Tech Camps. Drew then went on to work at ToolWatch as a Full Stack Software Engineer from July 2018 to June 2019. Afterwards, they joined Slalom Build as a Senior Data Engineer from July 2019 to November 2020. Following that, they worked as a Senior Cloud Architect at Pearson from November 2020 to November 2021. In 2021, Drew Engberson transitioned to SciPlay as a Senior Data Engineer, where they worked until July 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Data Engineering at Sandy Spring Bank.

Drew Engberson obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver. From 2015 to 2016, Drew also studied Mandarin at Ludong University in Yantai, Shandong, China. In addition to their educational background, Drew has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which was obtained in January 2022, and Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate, obtained in August 2020.
