Alkassoum A.

Alkassoum A. began their work experience in 2007 as a Voice Over IP Software Engineer at Sangoma Technologies. In this role, they managed software development projects and teams, shared knowledge with junior team members, and worked with the product management team. Alkassoum then joined Averna/RadioIP Software Inc in 2011 as a Consultant/Project Engineer, specializing in software design. Here, they provided software consulting, project management, and technical product management services. In 2012, Alkassoum A. returned to Sangoma, this time as a Project Manager/Voip Core Software Architect. Alkassoum was responsible for project and product management, software development team management, and networking and telecommunication software architecture and design. Alkassoum A. was later promoted to the role of Director of Software Engineering and most recently became the Vice President of Cloud Engineering at Sangoma in March 2022.

Alkassoum A. completed their MBA in Management from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, and Systems, from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in the year 2018.
