Scott Downer has extensive work experience in technical support and operations roles. Scott started their career at WorldCom Intermedia Communications Corp as a Technical Support Engineer, specializing in network and customer circuit issues. Scott then moved to Vertical Communications, where they worked as a Technical Support Engineer, Manager of Product Support, and Manager of Technical Support, handling complex technical issues, managing product support teams, and providing on-site and call center support for various products. Scott later worked at Acuative, formerly Telsource Corporation, as a Client Service Manager, responsible for service and sales activities for high-profile accounts. Currently, Scott is the Senior Vice President of Global Technical Support at Sangoma, overseeing global support operations and focusing on customer satisfaction and success.
Scott Downer attended the University of South Florida, where they obtained a BA in Communication Science and Disorders with a concentration in LSH. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in International Certification, Quality Service, Task Management and Interpersonal Training from Achieve Global Learning, as well as a Super Hands-On Certification from Nortel.
