Thimo V. Schmitt-Lord Mbe

Thimo V. Schmitt-Lord MBE currently serves as the Director of New Markets & Strategic Sourcing at Sanity Group, focusing on the growth and commercial success of the company’s cannabis business since May 2023. Prior to this role, Thimo held the same title at Vayamed GmbH, where responsibilities included developing a sustainable product portfolio and identifying new international markets from October 2020 to May 2023. Thimo's experience also includes serving as Director of Corporate Affairs at Aurora Europe GmbH and significant tenure at Bayer, where as Head of Foundations and Donations and founding CEO of Bayer Foundations, Thimo orchestrated the strategic reorganization of Bayer’s CSR portfolio and coordinated approximately 600 million Euros in funding for social initiatives. Thimo holds multiple degrees, including an MBE in Business/Commerce and a Master's degree in Business and Engineering.
