David Galloway

David Galloway has a diverse work experience in the field of investment strategy and economics. David began their career at the School of Economics, UCT, where they worked as a Lecturer and Course Convenor from 1988 to 1990. David then joined the Central Economic Advisory Service as a Senior Economist from 1991 to 1993. After that, they worked at the Standard Bank Investment Corporation as a Senior Economist from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they served as an Investec Group Economist at Investec from 1996 to 2001. David later joined SCMB Securities/Andisa Securities as the Head of Investment Strategy/Economics from 2002 to 2004. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Investment Strategy at Sanlam Investments, starting from 2005.

David Galloway pursued their education at the University of Cape Town, where they obtained a B.Bus.Sci (Hons) degree, followed by a B.Com Hons and an M.Com degree.
