Heidi Rommelaere

Heidi Rommelaere has a diverse work experience in the field of discovery research and leadership roles. Heidi is currently working as the Head of NRP Discovery - Lead Generation at Sanofi België since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Ablynx from 2007 to 2021, holding positions such as Distinguished Scientist - Group Leader Discovery, Senior Principal Scientist - Group Leader Discovery, Section Head - Discovery, and Senior Scientist - Team Leader Discovery. Before joining Ablynx, Heidi worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University from 1997 to 2007.

Heidi Rommelaere began their education at Sint-Lodewijkscollege in 1982 and graduated in 1988. However, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during this period. Heidi then went on to attend Ghent University from 1988 to 1992, earning a Master's degree in Biotechnology - Biochemistry. Finally, they continued their education at Ghent University, completing their PhD in Biotechnology - Biochemistry from 1992 to 1997.
