Joanna Lis

Joanna Lis has a extensive work experience in the field of market access and public affairs. Joanna started their career in 1994 as a medical statistician and member of the ethics committee in the Biomatematics Department at the Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education. Joanna then moved on to work as a health economics manager at Eli Lilly from 1997 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Sanofi, initially as the manager of the health economic department before being promoted to market access and public affairs director in 2011. Joanna continued to work at Sanofi in various positions, including market access director and country market access head. Overall, Joanna Lis has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on market access and public affairs.

Joanna Lis has a diverse education history. Joanna began their education in 1985 at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in the faculties of Mathematics & Physics and Computer Science. Following this, from 1990 to 1994, they attended the Institute of Biocybernetics & Biomedical Engineering, Polish Academy of Sciences (IBIB PAS), where they earned a Ph.D. in computer design of neural networks by genetic algorithms and its application in medicine, specifically in the field of medical studies. Lastly, from 2002 to 2004, Joanna attended Kozminski University, Warsaw, Poland, where they completed an Executive MBA program (AACSB), obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree.
