Birol Akova

Birol Akova possesses extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as a People Business Partner for Sanofi's Manufacturing and Supply Operations & Plant, overseeing Turkey's largest pharmaceutical factory with over 850 employees. Since joining Sanofi in 2005, Birol has held various HR leadership roles, including HR Manager for Global Functions, managing diverse areas such as Finance, IT, and R&D. Prior experience includes HR management positions at Sabancı Gıda Grubu and Danone, complemented by a foundation in HR as an HR Generalist. Birol's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul University.
