Johan Leenaars

Johan Leenaars has extensive experience in financial leadership, currently serving as a member of the Works Council at Sanoma Learning since March 2021, where contributions focus on pension knowledge and advisory roles in light of new pension legislation. Prior to this, from November 2004 to March 2021, Johan worked as a Finance Solution Expert and CFO at Malmberg, overseeing a team and significant financial operations in a publicly traded company with around 280 employees and €100 million in revenue. Johan's earlier roles include CFO at Malmberg Investments BV, divisional controller at the Educational Information Group, and controller at Directview, all within organizations linked to VNU. Academic qualifications include a master's degree in Business Economics from Tilburg University and additional certifications in governance and risk management.
