Chris Ingram

Chris Ingram has over 19 years of experience in firefighting and fire management. Since June 2009, Chris has served as a Fire Captain and previously held the position of Firefighter/Engineer with the Santa Clara County Fire Department. Currently, Chris is the President of Santa Clara County Firefighters Local 1165, a role held since February 2022. In addition, Chris has been a Situation Unit Leader and GIS Specialist with CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 3 since July 2014. Prior experience includes roles as Firefighter I with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection from June 2006 to October 2008 and as a Paid-Call Firefighter with CAL FIRE/San Luis Obispo County Fire from December 2004 to June 2008. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an Associate of Science in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Allan Hancock College.
