Max Rubio

Max Rubio is currently a Recruiter & Community Engagement Coordinator at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk since October 2023. Prior to this role, Max served as a 7th and 8th-grade instructor at Gilroy Prep School with Navigator Schools from August 2019 to October 2023. Max's earlier experience includes positions such as Clerk and Facility Coordinator at The Foundation for Hispanic Education (January 2017 - January 2019) and Admin/Clerk Assistant II at Campbell Union School District (October 2016). Max began a career in higher education at San Jose State University, starting as a Frosh Orientation Leader and advancing to Team Lead, where coordination and liaison tasks between new hires and professional staff were performed. Additional experience as a Food's Area Supervisor at Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park from March 2010 to December 2012 involved managing employees and providing customer service. Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality, Tourism, & Event Management from San Jose State University, earned in 2015.
