Viviane Pearson

Viviane Pearson has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Viviane most recently worked as the Division Manager of the Administration, Planning & Community Development Department at the City of Santa Cruz starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at the City of San José, including Compliance Senior Analyst in the Housing Department from January 2021 to March 2022, and Compliance Policy Analyst from January 2017 to December 2020. Before their time at the city governments, Viviane worked as a Business Development Consultant at Oracle in 2016. Their earlier experience includes serving as a JusticeCorps with Bay Area Legal Aid at Bay Area JusticeCorps from August 2014 to May 2015. Overall, Viviane Pearson brings a diverse range of skills and experiences to their work.

Viviane Pearson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Viviane also holds a Master of Public Administration from San Jose State University. Additionally, Viviane completed the Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Junior Summer Institute at the University of California, Berkeley. As part of the UC Education Abroad Program, they studied at Thammasat University in Thailand and earned a Bachelor of Political Science (BMIR) degree with a concentration in UC Education Abroad Program - Thailand.
