Nuno Loureiro

Nuno Loureiro is an experienced professional in the payments and financial services industry, currently serving as Head of Payments at Santander Portugal since March 2019. Previously, Nuno held the position of Head of Iberia at Mastercard Advisors from February 2018 to February 2019, where responsibilities included serving financial institutions, merchants, and governments with fintech services. Nuno has extensive experience at MasterCard from 2011 to 2018, initially as Director of Account Management and leading client relationships to drive innovation. Earlier roles include consulting at Arthur D. Little, product management at Banco Espírito Santo, financial management at Preço Base, and auditing at Deloitte. Nuno holds an MBA from IE Business School and advanced training in bank management, complemented by a degree in Business and Administration from Nova School of Business and Economics.
