Emma Rybalka is an accomplished academic researcher with extensive experience in the field of skeletal muscle pathology and related disciplines. Since January 2006, Emma has been affiliated with Victoria University as an Academic Researcher. Currently, Emma also serves as a Principal Research Associate at University Children's Hospital Basel and as the Inherited and Acquired Myopathies Program Director at the Australian Institute for Musculoskeletal Science. Additional roles include Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and various consultant positions with Epirium, Santhera Pharmaceuticals, and Dystrophy Concepts Inc. Emma holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Skeletal Muscle Pathology, a Graduate Certificate of Tertiary Education, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours, all from Victoria University.
