Missy M

Missy M. has six years of professional work experience, beginning with an internship at Turning Green in 2015. Missy then held the role of Director of Happiness at the same company. In 2017, they joined BEACN as an Associate Consultant, and was promoted to VP of Member Development. In 2018, they took on a Global Orientation & Onboarding Intern role at Tesla. In 2020, they joined Loop as a Business Development Associate for North America. Most recently, Missy has taken on two roles in 2021, as Account Manager at Vancery and Chief Sustainability Officer at Sapien.

Missy M. began their educational journey in 2014 at Belmont University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science and Social Entrepreneurship, with a minor in Public Relations and Social Issues. In 2016, they attended Vermont Law and Graduate School for the New Frontiers in Environmental Justice program. In 2017, they took a course at College of DuPage, before continuing their education at UC Berkeley, Rausser College of Natural Resources, where they earned a Bachelor of Science - BS in Society and Environment in 2020.
