Leah O’Mara

Leah O'Mara has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and biology. Leah is currently employed as an Oncology Clinical Team Lead II at Sarah Cannon since January 2022. Previously, they worked at Biosplice Therapeutics as an Associate Clinical Project Manager from January 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they had an extensive tenure at Samumed, LLC, where they held multiple roles including Lead Sr. Clinical Research Associate from January 2020 to January 2021, Senior Clinical Research Associate from December 2018 to January 2021, Clinical Research Associate II from December 2017 to December 2018, and Clinical Research Associate from July 2015 to December 2017. Leah also has experience as a Laboratory Technician at the University of San Diego Biology/San Diego State Research Foundation from June 2014 to June 2015.

Leah O'Mara obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of San Diego between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as ACRP-CP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals-Certified Professional) and Certified Clinical Research Associate from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in October and November 2017, respectively. Leah is also a member of ACRP.
