Shannon Thomas-Lohrman has extensive work experience in the field of clinical trials and research management. Shannon currently holds the position of Early Phase Strategic Site Operations Manager at Sarah Cannon, starting in January 2021. Prior to this, Shannon served as the Manager of Clinical Trials Coordination at ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN from August 2018 to January 2021. Shannon also worked as the Director of Clinical Trials Management at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from November 2009 to July 2018. Before joining St. Jude, Shannon held the role of Director of Research Quality Management at the VA Capital Health Care Network Mental Illness Research, Education & Clinical Center (MIRECC) from September 2000 to October 2009. Shannon began their career in research as a Research Supervisor/Study Coordinator in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine in July 1998, where they stayed until October 2009.
Shannon Thomas-Lohrman pursued their education in mental health counseling by obtaining a Master of Science degree from Georgia State University from 1992 to 1996. Previously, they had completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Florida State University from 1976 to 1980.
