Izel N.

Izel N. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career in 2007 as a Management Consultant at MMG Partners, where they worked until 2011. In 2012, they joined Barclays Capital as a Summer Associate for a brief period. Izel then moved on to work at Karbone in 2013 as an Associate. The following year in 2014, they joined Google as a Senior Strategist / Associate Principal, where they stayed until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Izel worked at Gemini, first as the Head of Fraud, Transaction Monitoring & Market Surveillance, and later as the Head of Trust & Safety. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the role of Founding Product Manager - Fraud & Risk Platform at Sardine.

Izel N. completed their high school education at Deutsche Schule Istanbul / Alman Lisesi from 1995 to 2003, earning a High School Diploma. Izel then attended Columbia Engineering from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Philosophy. In 2011, they enrolled at NYU Stern School of Business and pursued an MBA degree in Finance and Strategy, which they completed in 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Izel N. has obtained several certifications. In September 2017, they completed the Coursera course "Python Data Structures" and "Using Databases with Python." In September 2017, they also obtained certification in "Using Python to Access Web Data." This was followed by the completion of the course "Design Thinking for Innovation" in June 2018 and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" in January 2019, both from Coursera.
