Marc De Boom is the Group HR & ICT Director at Sarens. Marc has over 20 years of experience in human resources and has held various leadership positions in Europe.

De Boom started their career at Alcatel in 2000 as a Project Director for Access Networks. Marc was promoted to University Director in 2004 and then to HR Leader for North & East Europe in 2007.

In 2013, De Boom left Alcatel-Lucent to join Alpro as VP HR. Marc was responsible for the company's HR operations in Belgium, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, and Poland. During their time at Alpro, De Boom focused on organizational transformation to make growth sustainable and rolled out several talent & engagement initiatives with leadership development as a key driver. Marc also redesigned the company's C&B practices and renewed the HR Information System.

In 2018, De Boom left Alpro to join Danone as VP HR Europe. Marc was with Danone for four months before joining Sarens in August 2018.

Marc De Boom completed a postgraduate degree in business administration at KU Leuven before obtaining a master's degree in civil engineering from the same institution.
