Senior Director Global Infrastructure, Operations, End User Services, Generative AI at Sarepta Therapeutics

Kathy Stenson has extensive work experience in the IT field. Kathy started their career as an IT Director at Cereon Genomics, where they were responsible for managing the data center and developing internal applications. Kathy then moved on to join Eisai Research Institute as a Director of Information Technology, where they established policies and goals for the IT department. Kathy later joined Eisai as a Senior Director of Information Technology, where they played a key role in developing strategic direction and long-term planning for the global research and development division. Kathy also worked closely with business units to align IT plans with business strategies. After leaving Eisai, Kathy worked as a Senior Consultant, providing IT strategic consulting for small to midsize businesses. Most recently, they joined Sarepta Therapeutics as a Senior Director, overseeing global infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity.

Kathy Stenson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management of Information Systems from Northeastern University. Kathy also obtained a certificate in Bio-Pharma: Mastering the Business of Science from Babson Executive Education in 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Kathy also has various certifications and certificates. Kathy has obtained certifications in EXI Product Manager: Core Concepts and Employee Comms Product Manager: Core Concepts from Moveworks in February 2024. Kathy also holds certifications in Streamlining Your Work with Copilot (formerly Bing Chat/Bing Chat Enterprise) from LinkedIn in 2023, Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2023, GPT-4: The New GPT Release and What You Need to Know from LinkedIn in 2023, and Generative AI for Business Leaders from LinkedIn in 2023. Furthermore, Kathy has a certificate in Data Management for Clinical Research from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2020 and an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2019.

Kathy also completed the Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan Executive Education. Kathy holds an edX Honor Code Certificate for Tackling the Challenges of Big Data that they obtained from edX between May 5, 2015, and June 16, 2015.
