Christopher Wilson

Christopher Wilson, P.E. has over 20 years of work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Christopher is currently working as a Lead Electrical Engineer at Sargent & Lundy. Prior to this, they worked at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) as a Project Engineer III - Protection for 5 years. In this role, they provided support and consulting services to industrial and utility customers, completed protection scheme design, power system modeling, and designed and commissioned communication-based protection networks. Before SEL, Christopher worked at Knoxville Utilities Board as an Electrical Engineer for 7 years, where they were responsible for substation design and project management. Christopher also worked at DENSO as an Electrical Engineer (Machine Design) for a year, designing electrical hardware and software for industrial machinery. Additionally, they have experience as an Electrical Engineer at thyssenkrupp Elevator and as an MECP Master Installer at Best Buy. Prior to these roles, Christopher began their career as a 12volt installer at NewWave Car. Overall, their experience includes substation design, protection scheme design, power system modeling, relay settings, and industrial machinery design.

Christopher Wilson, P.E. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a second major in Math from The University of Memphis. Christopher attended the university from 2004 to 2009.
