Manish Jain

Manish Jain is an experienced manager in transmission planning and operations, currently serving as the Manager of Transmission Planning at Sargent & Lundy since August 2023. Responsibilities include overseeing junior engineers, managing power system studies projects, and participating in business development. Prior roles include Manager of Transmission Operations & Support at Exelon, where Manish implemented a new EMS system, and General Engineer at ComEd, focusing on updating EMS models and equipment ratings. Earlier experience includes roles at NTPC and Power Research and Development Consultants, along with academic internships related to voltage stability studies. Manish holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
