Denise Makousky

Denise Makousky serves as the Adult Community Service Coordinator for Sarpy County, a position held since October 2007 within the criminal justice system. Prior to this role, Denise was the Angel Tree Coordinator for the Salvation Army Housing Association in a seasonal capacity during 2006-2007. From November 1997 to May 2003, Denise acted as the Executive Director for the Madison/Stanton County American Red Cross, overseeing financial and administrative management. Denise's experience also includes serving as a Community Organizer for Prevention Pathways from August 1992 to July 1995, where coordination of regional substance abuse prevention activities was key. Earlier in their career, Denise worked as a Processing Control Clerk at Firstier Bank from October 1979 to April 1985. Educational background includes studies at Metropolitan Community College.
