Jim Moloney

Jim Moloney is an experienced professional in risk research and quantitative solutions, currently serving as the Director of Business Solutions at SAS since July 2022. Previously, Jim has held significant positions such as President of EMEA Operations at Kamakura Corporation and Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe at Fiserv. Jim's extensive background includes roles as Head of Professional Services EMEA at Algorithmics, Senior Risk Analyst at Deutsche Bank with a focus on liquidity and interest rate risks, and Senior Risk Manager at Commerzbank AG, where credit and market risk were key responsibilities. Jim began a career in geophysics with positions as Principal Geophysicist at Coffey Partners International and Senior Geophysicist at the Roads and Traffic Authority, following a foundation as a Research Assistant at the University of New South Wales. Jim holds a Master of Applied Science in Applied Geophysics and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Engineering Geology and Engineering Geophysics from the University of New South Wales.
