Jonas Lie-Nielsen

Jonas Lie-Nielsen is an experienced IT professional with a strong focus on cloud architecture and analytics. Currently serving as the Lead Cloud Architect for SAS Nordic since June 2013, Jonas drives the transformation of SAS customers to the Cloud native SAS Yiya platform. Previously, Jonas was the Customer Advisory Lead for Norway at SAS, enabling clients to leverage their data effectively through analytics solutions. As a Principal Solution Architect, Jonas specialized in transforming strategic Nordic customers using emerging technologies such as Hadoop and Data Federation. Prior to joining SAS, Jonas held key roles at Posten Norge, including Chief Architect, where responsibilities encompassed overall IT architecture and procurement for application management, and BI/DWH Manager, overseeing Business Intelligence Solutions. Earlier experience includes positions as DWH/BI Architect at NorgesGruppen and Senior Consultant at BearingPoint. Jonas holds a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), earned between 1995 and 2000.
