Deola Gounden

Deola Gounden has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Deola began their career at PwC South Africa as an Auditor from January 2008 to February 2010. Following that, they worked at Singular as an Outsource Team Leader from August 2010 to September 2014. Deola then joined Momentum Investments as an Investment Tax Specialist from October 2014 to June 2016.

Deola Gounden's most recent role was at Sasfin, where they held multiple positions. Deola started as a Tax Specialist from July 2016 to April 2017. Deola then became the Manager for Middle Office and Tax from May 2017 to August 2019. After that, they served as the Head of Data from September 2019 to December 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Private Client Operations at Sasfin.

Deola Gounden attended Kharwastan Secondary School, where they completed their secondary education. Following their time at Kharwastan Secondary School, Deola Gounden enrolled at the University of KwaZulul Natal. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting.
