Tanja Swanepoel

Tanja Swanepoel has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tanja currently works at Sasfin in the position of Head Client Risk Management and Head: Field Survey. Tanja joined Sasfin in May 2019. Previously, Tanja worked at Avis Budget Rent a Car South Africa as the Internal Audit Manager for almost 9 years from February 2010 to May 2019. Tanja was responsible for developing the Annual Internal Audit plan, supervising the audit teams, reviewing risks, conducting internal audits, and facilitating the HLRA process, among other responsibilities. Prior to that, they served as the Divisional Internal Audit Manager at Barloworld from January 2006 to January 2010. Tanja began their career as an External Article Clerk at Aldrighetti & Associates in January 2002, where they gained experience in accounting, external auditing, and project leadership. Their tenure at Aldrighetti & Associates lasted until December 2005.

Tanja Swanepoel attended Hoerskool Oosterlig from 1995 to 1998, where they completed their matric. Tanja then enrolled at Vaal University of Technology from 1999 to 2002, earning a degree in Internal Auditing. In 2017, Tanja pursued further education at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, specializing in Enterprise Risk Management.
