Project Engineer at Saskatchewan Research Council

Bo Yun has a diverse range of experience in engineering and project management. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Site Engineer for Woh Hup Pte. Ltd., supervising structural works, guiding clients through inspections, and overseeing project schedules and costs. In 2011, they became a Research Student at the University of Dundee, focusing on the deterioration mechanism of concrete oil platforms. From 2013 to 2014, Bo Yun worked as a Site Engineer for Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd, leading a team to supervise structural works and collaborating with project managers. BO then joined P&T Architects and Engineers Ltd as a Resident Engineer from 2014 to 2018, conducting design reviews, managing site inspections, and providing design solutions. Since 2019, Bo Yun has been working at the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), first as a Project Coordinator and currently as a Project Engineer. In this role, they have been responsible for remediating a large uranium mine site, including preparing project costs, managing contractors, and ensuring health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.

BO YUN completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Materials Science and Engineering from Hohai University between the years 2004 and 2008. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Civil Engineering from the University of Dundee from 2011 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, BO YUN obtained several certifications, including a PMP certification from the PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter in June 2017, an Accredited Resident Engineer certification from The Institution of Engineers, Singapore in January 2017, and an Engineer in Training certification from the Association of professional engineers and Geosientist of Saskachewan (Year and month of obtaining this certification were not provided).
