Lorraine Vorster has a diverse work experience in the Human Resources field. Lorraine began their career in 2000 as an HR Administrator at Sasol Oil, where they were responsible for maintaining the employee database. In 2003, they moved to Sasol Technology and took on the role of Senior HR Administrator, where they focused on creating and maintaining the staff establishment. In 2008, they joined Sasol as a Principal Admin HR in Talent Management. In this role, they oversaw all activities related to the Talent Management Forum, including coordinating meetings, compiling agendas and minutes, and scheduling forum dates.

From 2006 to 2011, Lorraine Vorster pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Human Resources Management at UNISA.
