Fernando Fontanet

Fernando Fontanet is an experienced Program Manager currently with Satcom Direct since May 2023, focusing on the development of new and innovative products. Prior to this role, Fernando worked at FLYHT from 2020 to April 2023 in Development Project Engineering within the Program Management Office. Fernando's background includes significant positions at Thales USA, Inc. from 2014 to 2020 as Development Program Manager and Project Engineering Manager, and at LiveTV from 2008 to 2014 as Project Engineering Manager. Additionally, Fernando has consulting experience as Program Architect and Engagement Manager at Steven Myers and Associates and held various managerial and analytical roles at Northrop Grumman Corporation from 1995 to 2007, as well as earlier positions with Northrop Grumman - Orbital Sciences Corp. and Honeywell - Allied Signal. Fernando holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, earned between 1984 and 1989.
