Michael Byrne is an accomplished medical professional and entrepreneur, serving as Chairman, Founder, and Chief Medical Officer at Satisfai Health since January 2018, where Michael focuses on AI applications in gastroenterology to enhance patient outcomes through real-time analysis and decision-making intelligence. As the Founder of ai4gi since August 2016, Byrne also contributes to the field of gastroenterology. In addition to these roles, Byrne holds several significant positions at Vancouver General Hospital, including Director of Interventional Endoscopy Training Fellowship and Staff Gastroenterologist, as well as Director of Endoscopy, while also being a Clinical Professor of Medicine at The University of British Columbia. Byrne's extensive educational background includes degrees from the University of Cambridge, University of Liverpool, and Duke University School of Medicine, among others.
