Faisal Abanmi

Faisal Abanmi is a Senior Strategy Specialist at the Vision Realization Office within the Ministry of Energy, active since April 2022. Abanmi contributes as a member of the Energy Institute and holds the title of Future Energy Leader at the Saudi Energy Leaders Assembly since July 2022. Previously, Abanmi served as an Electrical Power Systems Engineer at Saudi Aramco from December 2017 to April 2022, where significant contributions included overseeing reliability assessments and acting as the lead engineer on the King Salman Energy Park Project (SPARK). Abanmi has also been a Project Manager for the O&M contract for SPARK and completed a renewable energy project at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Abanmi's educational background includes an upcoming Master of Philosophy in Energy Technologies from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from King AbdulAziz University, and a program diploma in Innovation Management from the International Business Management Institute, along with business education from Harvard Business School.
