Talal Alqahtani

Talal AlQahtani has a strong work history, beginning in 2002 at the Saudi Stock Exchange (TADAWUL) as a Database Specialist. Talal then moved to the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) in 2003 and held various roles including Web Administrator, System Administrator, Technical Team Lead, System Analyst, and finally as the Business Strategy Unit Head from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Talal joined the Capital Market Authority (CMA) where they held several positions, including Business Relationship Officer, Innovation and Consultation Team Lead, IT Portfolio Management (PMO) Team Lead, Director of IT Governance, and Director of Technology. Talal'stenure at CMA lasted until December 2020, with their last role being Director of Technology.

Most recently, in 2021, Talal joined the Saudi EXIM Bank as Chief Operating Officer and also served as the Director General of Information Technology for a brief period.

In 2021, they attended IMD and studied Mobilizing People - Leading with Impact, although they did not obtain a degree.

In 2018, they enrolled in the High Impact Leadership Programme at INSEAD and completed the program, focusing on Organizational Leadership.

During a one-year period in 2017, AlQahtani attended IMD, where they studied Leading Digital Business Transformation. Talal did not receive a degree from this program.

In 2016, they participated in the Leading Strategically program at the Center for Creative Leadership, concentrating on Organizational Leadership.

Similarly, in 2015, AlQahtani pursued an Associate's degree in Leading for Organizational Impact at the Center for Creative Leadership.

In 2014, they obtained Associate's degrees from both the London Business School, where they studied Business Administration and Management, and The George Washington University, where they focused on Project Management.

AlQahtani also obtained an Associate's degree in Organizational Leadership from The George Washington University in 2013.

Talal'searliest known formal education was at King Saud University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from 1999 to 2003, focusing on Computer Systems Analysis/Analyst.

Moreover, in terms of certifications, AlQahtani completed the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Programme from Euromoney Learning in August 2022.

In 2013, they obtained an Associate's Certificate in Business Analysis from The George Washington University.
