Andre Oelofsen

Andre Oelofsen is an experienced geological and exploration consultant currently serving as a Technical Consultant for the Accelerated Exploration Programme at the Saudi Geological Survey since September 2022, while also managing Geology & Exploration Services for DRA Saudi Arabia LLC since April 2022. Oelofsen previously held leadership roles, including Group Manager of Mineral Resources at Maaden and Senior Mineral Resource Manager for both The De Beers Group of Companies and Debswana Diamond Company. With extensive expertise in mineral resource management developed over a career spanning from 1997 to 2022, Oelofsen has worked on various projects, including developing inshore mineral resources and managing contractor operations. Educational qualifications include an MBA and an MSc in Geology from the University of Cape Town, as well as a BSc in Geology from the University of Port Elizabeth.
